Well, I think I found the issue. We'll see what happens when I publish this post, but I'm fairly certain I figured it all out. Here is the issue:
- The Mirror Feed settings for a blog only show when you are in grid view.
- The Mirror Feed setting Aggregate in site blog roll is what determines if the mirrored post will show in the site aggregate list.
- There isn't any documentation about this what-so-ever.
- Due to all of the above (especially the documentation), this is an issue that took me 2 days to track down as no one knew the answer.
When all is said and done it works really well, but only if people know about it. The CS 2007 project appears to have documentation in mind. I hope that stuff like this doesn't fall through the cracks.
Take it easy...
Hey guys,
I've been looking around at javascript based editors it seems like forever, but after seeing the current version of FCKeditor I think I finally have an editor for the CMS.NET project that I am happy with. You can take a look at thier current demo page, and and don't forget to take a look at their skins.
It is extremely light weight, has all the features of the other editors, appears to be xhtml compliant, and best of all there are actually people working on the project and continuously releasing updates. The latter has been a major issue with the the other two top editors. Plus, you get all of the source code. Lets see if Community Server will change to a better editor..<evil grin>
Take it easy,
Bill
